Networking plays an important role in the lives of anyone who is interested in developing relationships or building a following in a particular niche or market.  If your not paying close attention to the 10 tips below then you need to re-consider your whole networking strategies.

1. What do you do?

You need to have a very clear understanding of what you represent. What do you do? Why do you do it? for whom do you do it? These are questions you should be able to answer on command. If you’re serious about your business, blog, service then you will be confident in getting that message across.

2. What are your networking goals?

This is a vital question you need to ask yourself in regards to the idea of building your networking relationships. Make sure that once you’ve established that goal you pick the right places to build that relationship. If you visit an event that the National Rifle Association is hosting, you could probably guess that your not going to find who you’re looking for if your product, blog, or idea relates to anti-gun laws.

3. How are you coming off to people?

In Networking it’s important to remember, the key phrase, networking. - it’s a period where you have to demonstrate a genuine attitude. It’s a moment where you’re hoping to build a relationship with someone and the only way to accomplish this is by establishing trust between you and that person. It’s important that you completely avoid selling to them. The best way to find good partners, sponsors or individuals who will have a positive impact on your business, blog, idea, service or what not is to talk. You must engage them in conversation and if there is something worth networking about, it should come up naturally as the convo evolves.

4. Where are you going?

Visit networking groups within your niche and scan the room, how are the members of this group interacting with one another. Do you notice synergy? support among them? How’s the group’s overall attitude? Do you get a sense that the person hosting the event is a leader or authority within that particular niche? is the leader setting an example? These are all signs you need to pay close attention to when considering joining any type of niche networking groups.

5. Are you hiding?

It’s important that you stay visible to the audience or peers you’re trying to reach. If you’re staying indoors or just visiting networking parties and staying in the background you will probably go unnoticed. This is a moment to interact and show your face. Smile, talk, have a drink (coke, alcohol, water, whatever!) just have a drink. This makes folks feel like your partaking in the event and are having a good time. If your having a good time, you’re probably approachable and becoming approachable may be what breaks or makes you meeting your goal.

6. Are you asking questions?

if so what kind? It’s important that you ask questions in any networking event that you take part in. The best questions are open ended questions like “where are you from?” or “how do you like this place?”. Open ended questions are important because these types of questions are the questions that engage the two way conversation you are looking for. They tell the person on the other end that you’re interested in hearing what they have to say. If you remember anything at all make sure to Avoid questions that can be answered with a yes, no or maybe.

7. What do you really know?

Become an authority in your niche. When you become a knowledgeable person in your target market people tend to remember you. They will come to you for suggestions, ideas, and sometimes they may even bring you a larger audience.

8. Are you prepared for anything?

Prepare and show confidence! It’s important that before visiting any networking event you prepare yourself to answer questions that may come up in regards to why you are there. There are those that will ask you straight out: Hi, “How may I help you?” and you need to be able to strongly articulate an answer. Most folks have no immediate answer and unfortunately will give people the idea they don’t need to be interested in what you have to say.

9. Are you acting on who’s being recommended?

It’s important that if someone is recommended to you, that you follow through. When people recommend someone they will probably mention to the person that they have recommended them for XYZ. you can be sure that this will come up again in conversation and if the person that was recommended says that you have not reached out, this will reflect on you. And you will appear as an irresponsible individual.

10. What are you doing after you leave?

It’s important that you call the folks you meet, otherwise what’s the point of going to the event in the first place. Call them, communicate with them and express that you had a good time and that you enjoyed meeting them. Mention that you would like to get together for the sake of sharing ideas or to talk of whatever it is that you were there for. Don’t be Many of times this is the main issue with net-workers, they forget to follow up and eventually are forgotten.

How To Monetize Your Traffic So You Get ...

Things have certainly changed regarding online business ventures the truth is that its not as easy as it used to be - now a days when you launch a site, you launch it with a clear understanding that you have thousand of competitors that are willing to get a bigger share of the earnings pie. this is the moment for you to educate yourself on methods to monetize your business, you need to start thinking of ways to monetize the traffic you are getting.

Let’s face it, most of the folks who blog or have any online products or services are in it for the money. Name one person that does it for free? well fine I guess there is one but like I said above most are not - its time and time equals money so lets monetize the time we spent online by learning about income opportunities.

Its common sense that if you have no traffic you have no business and like any business without consumers you have no “ching ching” sales. I hope you understand that traffic represents all of the waiting to buy comsumers that have an opportunity to see what you have to offer them. The more folks are exposed to your products the higher the chances of you having a sale.

Its plain and simple If you put up an E-commerce site, you are expecting profits and with consistent traffic you have a huge opportunity of achieving huge profitability.

Making Money out of your Traffic

The best media to make profits out of traffic is by using advertising. The “net” generates millions traffic hits every day - and that million means there is a very large percentage of that number willing to find something to buy - its obvious some will be looking for information but either way bottom line the traffic is there so lets drive it towards the business.

We have to be greatful that this internet thing popped up and that it worked up - its an extremely reliable source and it has made the world into a smaller sphere or place. You can launch a site and reach a buyer in the depths Tin-Buc-Two.

So we’ve talked about launching an online business, and we’ve talked about making that business profitable and the means necessary to do so - now lets talk about how to achieve that. This is where the real work comes into play because i am sure you know that this is not a simple task; Generating this traffic will require work, you have to compete with a huge number of websites but if built successfully you could tap into an infinite number of possibilities - while you find that consumer willing to click on the buy now button, lets earn some $ just because they came to your site.

If you understand the concept of Traffic Equals Profit - then you have to assume that the reason for this is “Advertising” - traffic opens up another median of income to your online business. This traffic can be redirected to sponsored links and these services that provide these sponsored links are willing to pay you a sizable portion of the money they earned for the traffic you provide.

This method of monetizing is called “Pay Per Click or PPC”.

With every click a user executes on your site you will be paid and the more traffic you generate more clicks are bound to happen which means more profits for your pocket.

Affiliate Programs

Another road to go down for monetizing traffic is affiliate programs - you can link up with other tested sites and online companies and monetize your traffic by earning a % of sales generated by the traffic coming from your site.

When a user, consumer visits your site you will have the option of driving this consumer (traffic) to an online business you are affiliated with. When your consumer/user or gueset completes a purchase you will get a percentage of that sale because you drove them to that site.

Its very exciting and affiliate opportunities are everywhere on the net - the best choice for you to make is to learn about all of the vehicles of profit and utilize them to the best of your ability - learn the system, listen and act. It takes hard work and dedication, it takes your strong and passionate desire to succeed but if done with focus and consistency you will be able to monetize that traffic and earn your profits.

Frusketing.com Revamp -Changes and Updat...

This site launched about two years ago.

When I first launched it I was thinking about starting a blog that addressed the frustrations of internet marketing and how to deal with them in order to overcome them and sustain the level of desired success in whatever aspect of this business the readers were focused on.

I began posting and adding valuable content on the site and was effectively achieving the goal.

I was reaching readers, had good amount of traffic and basically I attained what Internet marketers work for [traffic]. Unfortunately as time passed on and more worked piled up and I began feeling a bit overwhelmed I found myself adding less and less content and honestly I saw the blog slowly but surely dying.

The lack of attention led me to miss an important renewal of the hosting service deadline and my host which at the time was GoDaddy decided it was time to boot me and goodbye all my good content.

This was not enough of a reason to abandon this project so i decided to rework the design of the blog and to start the mission again but with a twist and if you want to know more and are curious to know how I am going to market, and publish this project I suggest you tune in.

Thanks for reading!
