Coming up with a Niche? You thought it was easy didnt you?

Define Niche: Dictionary.com defines a niche as a topic pertaining to or intended for a market; having specific appeal.

“I am so damn frustrated with having to take time to formulate and outline what new “Niche” I will tap into in order to make all of these Millions of Dollars that the famous Internet Marketers boast about.”

I can almost guarantee that the thoughts above have probably crossed your mind in more than one occasion. You just started learning about the industry and here you are reading about so many wonderful success cases that these Internet Marketing professionals have been blessed with. You are left with an empty stomach in regards to how these successes were actually achieved. You begin to browse the Internet in the hopes that you will find an online resource that will break down the concept for you and automatically catapult you to your success. As you eagerly search through the catacombs of the world wide web you quickly realize that no matter how much information you run into it’s very hard to trust the resources because in most cases they are offering you excerpts of the “Informational Research” that will help you determine how you can find your NICHE while the actual “Meat & potatoes” of the knowledge will cost you a total of $56.34, however, we cannot forget that before you proceed to spend your hard earned dollars and purchase these items you will have to submit your e-mail for access to some “Exclusive” newsletter that promises to deliver much more information that will help you succeed.

The frustrating part of it all is that some of these offers are actually valid and offer you important and exclusive information that will help you in this industry but it’s very hard to differentiate the Junk from the real informational treasures when you don’t know anything about the industry. It’s also hard to “bite the bullet” once you have discovered that all of the information that you just spent half of a hundred dollars on is available for free had you been pointed in the right direction by an Internet Marketer with integrity and a memory of where they were a few years before they were faced with success.

In no way or by no means am I bashing my fellow marketers that want to profit from this type of information. Heck, this is what business is for and in reality as long as the information is valuable then there should be a cost associated with it. The truth is that in this world there is always a price to pay for anything and everything and as an adult you need to be wary about what to go after. I encourage you to do your research, regardless of how many minutes are ticking on that countdown page offering that MUST HAVE product to succeed in that NICHE. Take a few minutes to “google” the product and or service, as you may be surprised at the number of articles and web pages that you will find related to this purchase – get educated and you will succeed.

In regards to tapping into a profitable NICHE, I feel that there is a market for everything as long as you do it the right way and with integrity. You may be asking yourself what is the right way? In my most humble opinion the “right” way is when you feel that the information that you have offered is valuable to a degree and that you are proud of what you have done. You will know the difference between writing an article or an e-book yourself rather than copying and pasting an article that you saw on the World Wide Web and claiming it as your own.

When you are done reading this article you will quickly realize and perhaps kick yourself on the behind once I uncover THE SECRETS OF DISCOVERING YOUR NICHE.

If you’re looking to learn about what NICHES you can succeed in the answer is very simple. You have to pry yourself away from your keyboard and begin to ask yourself a series of very important questions that will help you narrow down your options.

What moves you? What motivates you? What hobbies do you follow? What do you enjoy talking about? Can you talk about that topic for hours at a time? If you write about that topic will you be able to write more than a one-paragraph article about it? These are extremely important things to consider once you have determined what your main interest would be.

If you are looking for suggestions and cannot really connect a niche to your hobby then perhaps you can focus on analyzing the conversations that you just had with your neighbor about an article he read. When I am looking for a NICHE MARKET I consider all of the questions that I mentioned in the above paragraph but obviously I would like to extend my NICHES outside of my comfort zone so I eagerly and attentively pay attention to all of the conversations I have. People may drop topics that are worth the research. With all of the tools available you can then determine if this particular topic that was discussed is submitted to the search engines by users– once you have established this you will need to research how many websites are targeting this niche and if you are lucky there will not be many. You now have an open market and are ready to take the next steps.
